Selena Gomez offers honest advice to women for choosing good person
Selena Gomez reflects on her previous breakup while speaking to Drew Barrymore
Selena Gomez has recently offered best dating advice to women who are looking out for someone good.
During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show last week, Selena, who was accompanied with her fiancé Benny Blanco on the show, shared wise words about dating a right person in life.
While responding to Drew’s question about dating, the Only Murders in the Building actress noted that every woman or human goes through a lot of different stages in their live.
“Some things make you insecure and something make you feel unsafe… Or you are paranoid all the time about who you are waking up to that day,” continued the 32-year-old.
Selena believed that it’s something that is realistic and it happened during courtship.
Recalling her last painful breakup, the Emilia Perez actress mentioned, “I went through my last breakup and I said to myself I should spent some time with myself first.”
Therefore, Selena stated, “My advice would be to simply understand what you deserve and also need to understand that they don’t need to complete someone. You want to be fully completed yourself.”
Following her last split, the singer and actress revealed she had “to do a lot of reteaching myself behaviours, patterns,” and then Benny came on and I completely fell head over heels for him”.
The reason, Selena was smitten by Benny, was “because he speaks so well and his caring nature”.
“He is funny too,” concluded the singer.
