Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could take over the football season if she performs at Christmas game day.
The 35-year-old is rumoured to take the stage before headlining for Super Bowl, and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is not ruling it out.
Responding to the question, Sarandos said “That’s a good challenge!”in an interview with Variety on Wednesday, March 19th.
“We did get her in the stadium this year,” he said referring to the game between Kelce’s team, Kansas City Chiefs against Pittsburgh Steelers in December last year, although reportedly Swift was not in attendance.
Although Sarandos is confident about the Christmas game this year, he hoped that Netflix could also win the bid for Super Bowl some day.
He shared, “It’s a tough economic model to thread for them. They get so much money from the networks. But in general, with the [November 2024] Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight, we were supporting a Super Bowl-sized audience. We can certainly support it technically.”
Last year, the Christmas Day game included a performance by Beyonce in her native state of Texas. The broadcast was named Christmas Game Day Beyonce Bowl, and Queen Bey performed many of her hits from Cowboy Carter.
