Prince William shares true feelings about 'separation' from Kate Middleton
The Prince of Wales left the Princess of Wales behind as he left the U.K. for a milestone trip
Prince William is excited to spend two days in Estonia as he embarks on his first international trip of the year.
The Prince of Wales, 42, arrived in Estonia on March 20 for a two-day solo visit, marking his first official foreign engagement of 2025.
While Kate Middleton remained in the U.K., William made it clear he was embracing the trip.
“Great to be visiting Estonia for the first time! Looking forward to an exciting two days here,“ he said.
According to reports, his visit includes meetings with Estonia’s President, Alar Karis, with the war in Ukraine expected to be a key topic. William is also set to meet British troops stationed in the country as part of Operation Cabrit, a NATO initiative strengthening security in Eastern Europe.
“Operation Cabrit is the name of the U.K. operational deployment to Estonia where British troops are leading a multinational battlegroup as part of the enhanced Forward Presence (eFP),” the British Army stated.
Beyond military engagements, William will spend time in Tallinn learning about Estonia’s renewable energy innovations and its response to the region’s ongoing energy crisis.
He’s also expected to meet Ukrainian refugees who have resettled in Estonia.
