Amitabh Bachchan beams with pride over son Abhishek's latest venture: 'Proud of you'

Amitabh Bachchan is extending wishes to son Abhishek Bachchan for his upcoming dance drama Be Happy, describing it as 'extraordinary.’

The Badla actor took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a motivational post for his son after watching the 2025 film.

Sharing his unfiltered thoughts on the starrer, Amitabh wrote in the caption, “T 5317 - …what an honour for you Abhishek … Proud of you... and today saw BE HAPPY... Such an extraordinary performance... Love you.”

The 82-year-old previously expressed pride in his son for defining the character from ‘one film to another,’ as he wrote at the time, “Abhishek, a father's pride, how easily you transform from one character to another. Congratulations, congratulations, love.”

For the unversed, Be Happy follows the story of a single father and his daughter, who aspires to participate in the country's most prestigious dance reality show.

It features a star-studded cast, including Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johnny Lever, and Harleen Sethi in key roles.

The film was scheduled to release on Amazon Prime Video on March 14, 2025, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
