Gigi Hadid opens up about parenting her daughter Khai with former partner Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid is opening up about parenting her daughter Khai with former partner Zayn Malik, to everyone's surprise.
During an exclusive interview with Vogue's April 2025 issue, the Victoria's Secret model, who had an on-and-off relationship with the One Direction singer from 2015 to October 2021, shared insights into their approach to co-parenting amidst hectic schedules.
She told the outlet, “Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”
In addition, Gigi emphasized that despite having very little information, people on social media think they know everything about the former couple, from their love story to their breakup.
Stressing that although she has a public profile, she's determined to keep certain things private as she further went on to add, “There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything. And at the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story.
“What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but what we’ve been through together.”
The mom-of-one has been dating actor and filmmaker Bradley Cooper since October 2023.
