Tom Holland's 'protective' take on his engagement to Zendaya

Tom Holland and Zendaya's relationship has made headlines after they exchanged rings in what appears to be an engagement ceremony.

According to TMZ, various sources have come forward with claims following Zendaya's regal appearance at the Golden Globe Awards, where she was spotted wearing a sparkling ring.

An insider opened up to People Magazine about their engagement, which was a long time coming.

Speaking of Tom’s inclination towards Zendaya, the source said, "He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one.

“They have something very special. Tom's always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it's official - she really is!"

Although the lovebirds are adamant to spend the rest of their lives together, it is reported that the two are in absolutely no rush to tie the knot as the A-listers have "got a lot of Hollywood projects and commitments coming up.”

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in July 2023, Holland discussed his dynamic with Zendaya.

He said at the time, “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
