Prince Harry moves LA fire victim to tears with his surprising gesture
King Charles' son Prince Harry shares heartfelt moment as he visits LA fire victims
Prince Harry received praise for his heartfelt gesture towards an elderly man during a surprise visit to the Los Angeles fire victims.
The Duke of Sussex visited the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena alongside his wife Meghan Markle on Friday to support the devastated community members.
As per a fan account on X, Harry left an elderly fire victim to tears with his surprising gesture.
According to Victor Gordo, the mayor of Pasadena, King Charles' son was seen sitting with an older evacuee at the Convention Centre.
The father of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet fulfilled the request of the old man, who asked the Duke to bring a doughnut for him.
The mayor recalled that once Harry brought the sweet item to the man, he said, "If you ever run for anything, I'll vote for you."
Victor lauded Harry and Meghan as they "really buoyed the spirits of the first responders," during their visit to the affected areas.
He told Fox 11, "They want to be as helpful as they can be … we visited with some of the affected families in some of the burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena."
The mayor shared that Harry and Meghan are "very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbours."
