Angelina Jolie to find peace in 2025 after divorce settlement with Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie feels relieved after reaching the divorce settlement with Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie wants to focus on finding peace and healing for her family in 2025.
A source spilled to PEOPLE that the Maleficent actress hopes “Brad Pitt can now finally move on and stop attacking her”.
For the unversed, Angelina and Brad reportedly put an end to the legal battle after signing off on their divorce eight years later on December 30.
The source told the outlet that the Tomb Raider actress was “exhausted, but she’s relieved this one part is over”.
“Brad has successfully used his power and his privilege to cover up his conduct at his family’s expense, to punish Angelina for leaving, and even to attempt to paint her as the reason why his relationship is so challenging with the children,” shared an insider.
However, the source mentioned, “Angelina hopes the finalisation of their divorce will enable him to move on, stop attacking her, and instead help heal their family.”
Another source close to the Troy star denied Angelina’s claims and told PEOPLE that the actress “engaged in one-sided attacks for the past eight years, including a never-ending distortion of facts and projecting their behaviour onto others, causing tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family”.
It is pertinent to mention that Brad reportedly sued Angelina for breaching an agreement after selling half of Château Miraval for $67 million in October 2021.
A source close to Maria actress revealed, “Sadly, until he drops his lawsuit, this family will not have the peace and healing they so very much desire and deserve.”
Meanwhile, a source related to Brad added. “Miraval lawsuit is a perfect example of Angelina’s approach” to attacking the actor.
