'The Big Bang Theory' stars reunite for upcoming season of ‘Night Court’
Malissa Rauch set to share screen with co-star Mayim Bialik in ‘Night Court’
Malissa Rauch, who plays Abby Stone in the Night Court, had a sweet reunion with her former The Big Bang Theory co-star Mayim Bialik.
The Call Me Kat actress is set to make guest appearance at Night Court season three, with the episode titled, Mayim Worst Enemy.
According to the Entertainment Weekly, the 49-year-old star will play a heightened version of herself.
The storyline follows Bialik turning up in court as a defendant and befriending Judge Abby Stone (Rauch’s character). However, their friendship takes a dark turn when she learns that " Mayim is stalking her."
Reflecting on the experience of reunion, Bialik who played Amy Farrah Fowler alongside Rauch's Bernadette Rostenkowski in the hit CBS sitcom, told the outlet: “It feels like I should be dressed like Amy and she should be dressed like Bernadette. There's definitely a lot of surreal moments and just a huge nostalgia factor.”
Bialik also spoke about her decision of accepting the role, saying, “I said, 'Anything for you.' I literally said, 'Whatever you want.’” She further added that she enjoyed playing a “really funny, evil version of [herself].”
This marks the second reunion of The Big Bang Theory on the Night Court.
Previously, Kunal Nayyar made an appearance as a fashion designer who briefly served as a potential love interest for Abby in season two.
Malissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik reunion episode of Night Court will air on January, 14, 2025.
