Sabrina Carpenter has confessed in a latest interview that she fell in love with Paul McCartney from The Beatles’ the moment she heard him play.
Carpenter admitted falling in love with McCartney to a level where she started thinking of him as her future husband.
As she grew up, the Girls Meets World famed artist had a chance to meet The Beatles’ bass guitar and piano player. The meeting left her in tears.
While chatting with host Stephen Colbert at The Late Show, the 25-year-old popstar shared: “When I was very, very young, my dad played me ‘Rocky Raccoon’ for the first time, and I was so mesmerized by that song and the songwriting of it that I fell in love with Paul McCartney.”
She continued sating: “I was convinced that was my husband, my future husband. But he was quite old. And I was so young I didn’t understand that he was much older than me … So when I grew up I just fell in love with his songwriting.”
While reminiscing her meeting with the 82-year-old versatile musician, Sabrina stated: “He was just so normal and casual and was so charming it just felt like I was entering an alternate universe.”
The Feather singer compared her meeting with Let It Be artist to Stranger Things ‘but a lot happier than Stranger Things.’
