Prince William was left shocked by a young fan as he joined in with the Christmas festivities during a special outing in Bulford.
The Prince of Wales received a touching gift from a 10-year-old Carson Heighway who painted William's photo.
The young child depicted the future king in his self-drawn picture upon his arrival in Wiltshire to meet soldiers of the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment and their families at the base.
In the heartwarming photo, William - who's Colonel-in-Chief of 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment - is seen with his beard and thinning hair. The portrait left the royal out of sense as he could not react to the drwing.
During the visit, the Prince took time to meet with the soldiers and their loved ones. He also mingled with families, spoke with children and received thoughtful cards and a festive Santa hat intended for his three children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
The Prince also shared a glimpse into his Christmas Day plans, revealing that he will join 45 family members for Christmas lunch this year.
