Ariana Grande's gets nominated for 'Wicked' at Golden Globe
Ariana Grande is on cloud nine as she just got nominated at the Golden Globe Awards in the category of 'Best Supporting Female Actor' for her role as 'Glinda' in Wicked.
Taking it to her Instagram, Grande re-posted the list of nominees shared by Golden Globes official social media handle.
She expressed her excitement saying that she is floored and feels honoured having been recognized by the members of the big Award show.
The 7 Rings singer wrote: "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I am floored and honored to be recognized by the members of the @goldenglobes, crying (of course).”
“It’s impossible to find my words, but I am simply so deeply grateful for this acknowledgment."
She further gave a special shoutout to her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who has also been nominated in the category of 'Best Actress' for the role of 'Elphaba'.
"Congratulations to my brilliant, dear sister. and all of our Ozian family on this celebration of our work. I cannot possibly express my gratitution."
It is noteworthy that Jon M. Chu’s musical Wicked have also been nominated in the category of 'Best Motion Picture' at Golden Globe Awards, set to take place on January 5, 2025.
