The truth behind Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency 'comeback': Reports
Britney Spears was rumoured to be in talks for a Las Vegas residency, her first after seven years
Britney Spears has no plans for returning to Sin City.
Despite rumours that she is eyeing Las Vegas for a comeback residency, the Princess of Pop has no such plans, according to a new report by Daily Mail.
The buzz began when Las Vegas insider and Vital Vegas blogger Scott Roeben took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a throwback promo image from Spears' wildly successful Piece of Me residency, accompanied by the intriguing caption: "You wouldn’t believe it if we told you, so just leaving this here."
A recent report by The Mirror even linked Spears to a potential deal at Caesars Palace, sparking hopes for her return to the stage after seven years.
However, Spears’ camp has firmly denied the speculation. The singer, who grossed $137 million during her Piece of Me run from 2013 to 2017, hasn’t performed live since canceling her second residency, Dominion, in 2019.
While fans yearn for a comeback, Spears has been clear about her priorities. In January, she addressed rumors of a new album, writing on Instagram: “Just so we’re clear most of the news is trash !!! ... I will never return to the music industry !!!”
Spears, whose last album Glory dropped in 2016, has focused on other projects, including her explosive memoir, The Woman in Me, released in 2023. For now, the pop star seems content steering clear of the spotlight, despite ongoing whispers about her next move.
