Robert Downey Jr.'s 'Sherlock Holmes 3' gets exciting update
'Sherlock Holmes 3' has been under development for 13 years
Sherlock Holmes 3 has been in development for the past 13 years and now actor Jude Law has officially unwrapped a few details about the new film.
However, he mentioned that the makers do have a script, but he hasn’t read it yet. But Jude confirmed that there is going to be a 'new iteration' with Robert Downey Jr. reprising the role again hopefully.
While talking to The Playlist, The Holiday star stated, “The hope is we’re still going to do it. I think there’s a new iteration of the script I haven’t yet read. And then there’s a case of “How expensive is it? And can we get it made?”
“But honestly, also, there’s a friendship, but also the experience of working with Robert, and he really does bring an extraordinarily brilliant, fun, motivated, and inspirational kind of quality to a film set, and I miss it being a part of that. It was a great experience.”
However, Law’s statement does not guarantee the chances of a threequel as he has not even read the script yet.
There are some big reasons to rethink the decision of whether to move forward with the movie or not, which include; the finances and Downey's packed schedule, reports Screen Rant.
