'Sherlock Holmes 3' has been under development for 13 years
Sherlock Holmes 3 has been in development for the past 13 years and now actor Jude Law has officially unwrapped a few details about the new film.
However, he mentioned that the makers do have a script, but he hasn’t read it yet. But Jude confirmed that there is going to be a 'new iteration' with Robert Downey Jr. reprising the role again hopefully.
While talking to The Playlist, The Holiday star stated, “The hope is we’re still going to do it. I think there’s a new iteration of the script I haven’t yet read. And then there’s a case of “How expensive is it? And can we get it made?”
“But honestly, also, there’s a friendship, but also the experience of working with Robert, and he really does bring an extraordinarily brilliant, fun, motivated, and inspirational kind of quality to a film set, and I miss it being a part of that. It was a great experience.”
However, Law’s statement does not guarantee the chances of a threequel as he has not even read the script yet.
