Barry Keoghan dispels split rumours by praising 'special' Sabrina Carpenter
Barry Keoghan called Sabrina Carpenter a 'strong,' 'independent' and 'massively talented' lady
Barry Keoghan just put breakup rumours on mute with a sweet shoutout to Sabrina Carpenter.
The Saltburn star, 32, didn’t hold back his admiration for Carpenter, 25, during a chat on The Louis Theroux Podcast.
When Theroux slyly asked about their relationship status, Keoghan replied with a laugh before calling himself “incredibly blessed” to know Carpenter.
“Such a strong, independent lady who’s massively talented and yeah. Pretty special,” he added, quashing any whispers of a split.
Keoghan also gave a nod to their creative bond, mentioning his appearance in Carpenter’s June music video for Please Please Please. “Great video, great music,” he said, clearly still smitten.
The couple first sparked dating rumours in late 2023 before making their red carpet debut in March. Though Carpenter hinted at the challenges of dating in the spotlight, she admitted to The Guardian in August that she just has to roll with it: “It comes with the territory,” she said.
With Keoghan’s recent heartfelt words, it’s safe to say there's no ill will between the pair — despite the buzz.
