ASAP Rocky says he's 'world's greatest dad' to his kids with Rihanna
ASAP Rocky and Rihanna share two young sons together: RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months
A$AP Rocky is embracing fatherhood in full force.
In a candid interview with W Magazine for their October 8 cover story, the Grammy-nominated rapper opened up about how becoming a dad to his sons RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months, has transformed his life.
"That s*** changed my swag,” Rocky, 35, shared, admitting, “I’m such a dad, it’s f***ing hilarious."
Rocky, who shares his boys with longtime partner Rihanna, 36, also discussed the challenges of balancing his career with parenthood.
“I haven’t been in the gym in weeks… But the sacrifices we make to put out something substantia. Once you a parent [sic], you just embody that, no matter what,” he reflected.
When it comes to parenting, Rocky and Rihanna work together seamlessly.
“I think we both have our niches," he said, further explaining, “She could never be a great dad, because she’s a great mom. And I could never be a great mom, because I’m the greatest dad in the whole wide world.”
Rocky also gave some insight into their sons' personalities, noting that RZA is more introverted, like him, while Riot is an extrovert, just like his mom.
“RZA’s my twin,” Rocky said proudly, joking that his son may have inherited Rihanna’s famous forehead but takes after his dad in every other way.
