Selena Gomez garners praises as she takes a thoughtful initiative for mental health awareness
Selena Gomez delighted her fans by taking a thoughtful step for a cause close to her heart.
As reported by Daily Mail, the songstress has teamed up with a renowned multinational makeup retailer to mark World Mental Health Day.
Gomez will donate the proceeds earned through her Beauty line, Rare Beauty, to underprivileged people dealing with mental health issues.
On October 7, the Calm Down singer was spotted at her collaboration event in New York City, which was aimed at spreading awareness about the Rare Impact Fund.
Selena donned a smart black tank top, which she paired with crisp high-waisted trousers and a studded belt for the evening.
Notably, the 32-year-old artist elevated her outfit with a beachy waves hairstyle.
Nearly a week ago, Selena and the whole cast of her Musical-Comedy film Emilia Pérez received a French honour from the cultural counsellor of France, Mohamed Bouabdallah, in NYC.
The Who Says singer has also shared a few glimpses on her Instagram account, flaunting her major milestone.
The critically acclaimed artist captioned her post, “Thank you @mbouabdallah_ for honouring my cast with the Chevalier dans l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres tonight at @villa.albertine for Emilia Perez!"
On the professional side, Selena last released the single Love On song in February this year.
