Frances Bean Cobain, Riley Hawk welcome first baby
The new parents revealed the name and birthdate of their little bundle of joy
Frances Bean Cobain has entered parenthood with her husband, Riley Hawk.
On Saturday, September 28, the daughter of Courtney Love and late Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, took to her Instagram to announce the arrival of her little bundle of joy.
"Welcome to the world's most beautiful son. We love you more than anything," she captioned the carousel of photos offering a glimpse of the newborn baby.
The new mother further revealed the name and the birth date. She penned in the caption that their son Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk was born on September 17.
Among the three black-and-white photos, the cover picture features the adorable baby in a side pose, with his tiny fingers grasping someone’s finger.
In the following slide, baby Ronin is seen holding hands with his mother, and in the last shot, Riley, the son of retired pro skater Tony Hawk, cradles the baby in his arms while standing in an open space with trees behind him.
The post was flooded with love and best wishes from celebrities, family members, and fans.
"My favorited grandson!" Tony, 56, gushed over the new addition in the family.
"Ahhhh! Congrats!!!!" exclaimed Zelda Williams, daughter of the late actor Robin Williams.
Meanwhile, Harper Grohl, daughter of Kurt's former Nirvana bandmate Dave Grohl, dropped heart and teary-eyed emojis to congratulate the new parents.
Frances, 32, made her relationship official with Riley, 31, in 2022, sharing photos of him on Instagram at the time.
They tied the knot on October 7, 2023, in an intimate, Victorian-inspired ceremony officiated by R.E.M. front man Michael Stipe, who is Frances’ godfather.
