Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s romance inspired Lifetime Christmas movie?
Lifetime’s upcoming movie Christmas in the Spotlight will reflect on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance has recently inspired a new Lifetime’s upcoming Christmas movie.
PEOPLE confirmed that the new movie, which is a project of network’s new It’s A Lifetime movie project, will “explore the possibility of a love that can shine even under the bright lights of fame”.
According to the official synopsis, Christmas in the Spotlight “will revolve around Bowyn (Jessica Lord), a popular musician and celebrity, who despite always singing about love and relationships, hasn’t found Mr. Right yet”.
“She meets Drew (Laith Wallschleger), who is a pro football player, backstage at her show with his niece. Sparks fly between them and when Drew publicly declares he has a crush on Bowyn, they decide to give dating a shot,” read the outline.
The logline added, “The pair has until the end of the holiday season to decide if they want to stay together, or let it go down in flames.”
Besides Laith and Jessica, the movie star cast also include Emmy award-winning host and producer Jeannie Mai, who plays Bowyn's manager, and TikTok influencer Haley Kalil, who will make her television debut as Drew's sister-in-law Nicole.
Meanwhile, the outlet reported that the new movie will reflect on Travis and Taylor’s romance.
Earlier, the NFL star revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had planned to give Taylor “a bracelet” with his phone number on it but it could not happen.
“I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings, so I was a little hurt that I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” shared Travis.
