Meta CEO owner Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday made headlines by unveiling a photo of his wife, Priscilla Chan, beside a shining silver and blue statue made in her likeness, BBC reported.
The sculpture is about 7 feet (2. 1 meters) tall from the base to the crown. Zuckerberg ordered it for his wife inspired by the Romans who used to make sculptures of your wife.
Sculpted by a New York artist – Daniel Arsham, the statue is placed in what seems to be a residential compound in the compound beneath a tree.
As soon as it appeared online, people began drawing parallels between the speaker and characters from Avatar and joking about Zuckerberg and his ‘wife guy’ antics.
In the picture, it is clearly observed that Chan is drinking from a mug that has the same light blue color as that of the statue.
She left a flirty reply to her husband’s Instagram post with words, “The more of me the better?” followed by the heart symbol.
The metal cladding wrapping around the teal figure seems to be designed to look like the gown of the statue being sculpted of silver.
As stated by the National Museums Liverpool, the images of ancient Romans were meant to celebrate the memory of beloved deceased or draw attention to the important members of the family and create social ties.
Zuckerberg and Chan got married in 2012 and they have three daughters together.
