King Charles and Prince William appear to be at odds when it comes to major decision concerning Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
The Prince of Wales appears to have taken a new role in the family as the monarch softens towards with estranged younger son, Harry, per royal commentator Dee Dee Dunleavy.
The commentator suggested the royals should avoid communication all together, let alone reconciliation with Harry and Meghan after they left their senior royal positions.
“There’s talk that William is the enforcer, the tough guy of the royal family. King Charles is a pushover, I think he’d take Harry back in a heartbeat,” she told Sky News Australia.
“William’s taken on the role that Prince Phillip had, he was the tough guy,” she continued. “I can see William’s point of view as well, he’s more protective of the upset that Harry caused while the Queen was in her dying weeks.”
Prince William and Prince Harry are not on speaking terms especially after the Duke painted his elder brother and the royal family in negative light in his explosive 2023 memoir Spare.
“That’s probably why William has such a strong feeling toward Harry, but I just can’t see [Prince Harry rejoining the family] happening,” she added.
