Frankie Grande backs Ariana Grande amid 'cannibal' fuss with witty response
Frankie Grande reacted to cannibal jokes about sister Ariana Grande
Frankie Grande clapped back to ridiculous rumours about his sister, Ariana Grande.
On Thursday, July 11, the Big Boy alum took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to headline-making fans’ joke that his younger sister is a cannibal.
"This might be the most creative and lowest y’all have ever gone," he wrote in the caption of the social media post.
"Reaching new depths daily!" the Boy is Mine songstress’ brother added.
Frankie, 41, did not stop there and went on to slam the naysayers with a witty reply.
"Listen, I know my sister's been eating the girls up for years, but this is a bit extreme!" he added playfully. "Besides, she's vegan."
According to Entertainment Weekly, absurd rumours went rife as a part of a viral trend in which an artist’s supporter tried to discourage others from buying tickets to their concerts so the fans could buy them all.
Additionally, the ludicrous claims might be related to 31-year-old Ariana’s previous comments from June. In a podcast hosted by her, The Boy is Mine costar, Penn Badgley, the former Disney star said that when she was young, she was fascinated with serial killers.
In another instance the Wicked actress was asked at a fan event who her dream dinner date — living or dead — would be, to which she replied in front of the group of young fans and their parents that it would be cannibalistic serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, "I have questions."
