Sharon Osbourne announces cancellation of Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell shows
Sharon explained that Ozzy Osbourne is ‘unable to travel’ for his upcoming Mad Monster Party appearance
Ozzy Osbourne is too unwell to travel for his upcoming highly-anticipated concerts, which were meant to be his farewell shows before he retired from music due to his health.
Announcing the news on his behalf, Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, took to her Instagram Stories to express her regret, apologise to fans, and thank them for their unending support.
“Regretfully the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix,” Sharon, 71, announced, explaining that the Black Sabbath vocalist, 75, “is unable to travel at this time.”
“Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will of course get full refunds,” the X Factor and America’s Got Talent judge assured fans.
She continued, “We would like to thank you all for your constant support with Ozzy. It means so much to him, you have no idea.”
Expressing her regret, she said, “All I can do is apologise that we won’t be there and I’m apologising to the people we’ve let down from my heart.”
“So god bless you all. Thank you so much,” she concluded.
