Protesters storm PM Rishi Sunak's residence: Four detained

Four men have been arrested for aggravated trespass at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s constituency home in Kirby Sigston, North Yorkshire.

Police said that the suspects were arrested within one minute of them entering the property.

North Yorkshire Police said, "They were detained at around 12.40pm before being escorted off the property and arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass." The individuals, aged 52 from London, 43 from Bolton, 21 from Manchester, and 20 from Chichester, are currently in police custody as they are being interrogated.

A video captured the disturbing moment when a protester targeted Sunak's personal North Yorkshire residence, defecating in his lake. The protest aimed to highlight issues of river pollution and arms sales to Israel.

The group, Youth Demand, an offshoot of radical activist movements like Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion, broke into the Prime Minister’s Northallerton estate.

In a shocking act, 21-year-old activist Oliver Clegg waded into the lake and appeared to defecate. Clegg, a student from Manchester, has participated in other protests before.

Youth Demand issued a press release describing the act as a “thank you and parting gift to Rishi Sunak”.
