Jennifer Lopez escapes Ben Affleck marriage drama with ‘freedom’ trip to Europe

Jennifer Lopez is making the most out of time away from Ben Affleck as speculations about their marriage continue to swirl.

The multi-hyphenate star is currently on a trip to Europe sans estranged husband and kids, alongside a bunch of her friends.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, a source reflected on the Atlas star’s true motivation behind the trip in the midst of marital woes with Affleck.

"Jen loves vacationing in Europe during the summer. It's been nice for her to experience a change of pace and have some breathing room," they suggested, listing down the series of activities Jennifer has on the horizon.

"She has been having a blast with her friends. They love to go to fun dinners, have late nights, lay out in the sun, get dressed up, dance, and shop,” the insider continued.

They went on to explain the Batman alum wouldn’t have liked being on the trip anyway, owing to his low-key nature.

"That's never really been Ben’s scene, even when him and Jen weren't having any issues," they said. “Jen isn't letting the fact that Ben's not there bring her down."

Meanwhile, the singer’s kids, Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, “are away at summer activities” as she continues to have a night on the tiles.
