Michael Mosley's BBC fellows pay emotional tribute following unexpected death
Michael Mosley was found dead on Sunday, May 9
Alex Jones recently paid tribute to Michael Mosley in an emotional post following the tragic news of his passing.
Mosley, who was a regular on This Morning and BBC Radio 4’s Just One Thing, had been previously caught up in a tropical getaway on the Greek island of Symi alongside his wife, Dr Clare Bailey.
However, the 67-year-old went missing shortly after he decided to stroll down around 1:30pm on Wednesday, June 5 and was found dead on Sunday, May 9.
Honoring their late colleague on BBC programme on Monday, June 10, hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas made an emotional statement.
Alex said of Mosley in a heartfelt remembrance: "Good evening. We're starting tonight's show with the sad news that we've lost a dear friend and colleague. Dr Michael Mosley was part of the original line-up of One Show reporters, who made his first appearance in 2007, and he's been a familiar presence on the show ever since."
Meanwhile, Jermaine chimed in, adding: "We've already had hundreds of messages from you sharing what a difference he made to your lives. Do please keep them coming and we'll read some of them out a bit later in the show.
"We'll also be joined by Dr Chris Van Tulleken and Dr Hannah Fry, who'll be sharing their memories of working with Michael."
In addition, BBC took to social media to express grief over Mosley’s demise.
