Kareena Kapoor Khan has reportedly encountered legal issues related to the title of her 2021 book.

According to NDTV, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has served a notice to the 43-year-old actress in response to a petition challenging the title of her pregnancy memoir, "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible."

The petition, filed by advocate Christopher Anthony, aims to initiate legal action against Kareena and the book's sellers for the use of the term "bible" in the title.

The court has requested an explanation from the Jab Wet Met star regarding the use of the word "bible" in the title.

Additionally, notices have been sent to the book's sellers following Mr. Anthony's petition, which seeks to prohibit the sale of the book.

According to reports, social worker Anthony from Jabalpur argued in his petition that the title "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible" disrespects the Christian community by using the word "bible" inappropriately.

He maintained that comparing Kareena's pregnancy experience to the Bible, a sacred text for Christians worldwide, is unacceptable and he also accused the Udta Punjab actress of using the term "bible" as a publicity stunt to gain attention for her book.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in the film, Crew, alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon, released on March 29, 2024.

She will next appear in Rohit Shetty's cop-film Singham Again, releasing on August 15, 2024.
