Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan shared insights into how Sanjay Leela Bhansali kept himself composed on the sets of Heeramandi.
During an interview with IMDB, the 50-year-old actor disclosed how Bhansali had his assistants arrange for a group of dogs to help him relax during the shoot.
The Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein actor said, “Whenever he was getting flustered, or wasn't getting what he wanted, or he was frustrated about something."
"To calm him down, the assistant directors would send these 25 dogs that Mr. Bhansali has, on the sets of Heeramandi and the minute they went on to set, he used to be calm," he added
Alongside Fardeen, the series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, features a talented ensemble cast including Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman and others.
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web-series marked Fardeen Khan's return to acting after a hiatus of 14 years.
Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar premiered on Netflix on May 1, 2024.
