Kendrick Lamar aims shot at Drake's 'Family Matters' with latest 'Meet the Grahams'
Kendrick Lamar releases Meet the Grahams in response to Drake’s Diss track
Kendrick Lamar recently launched third song of the week Meet the Grahams in response to Drake’s Diss track.
Following Drake’s Family Matters, Lamar continued the battle with ferocious words for the rapper and his family.
The Compton artist opened up by directly addressing Drake’s son Adonis Graham, belting out lyrics: “Dear Adonis, I’m sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest/ It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive/ I look at him and wish your grandpa woulda wore a c*****/I’m sorry that you gotta grow up and then stand behind him”.
He then addressed Drake’s mother Sandra Graham, noting: “Dear Sandra, your son got some habits/I hope you don’t undermine them.”
Meanwhile, he didn’t hold back from directly addressing Drake’s father either.
Using harsh words for the rapper’s father, he said: “You raised a horrible f****** person/The nerve of you, Dennis”
Lamar explained that it was Drake, who intentionally brought the Californian’s family into the rap beef.
He later questioned the rapper: "Why you had to stoop so low to discredit some decent people? Guess integrity is lost when the metaphors doesn’t reach you.”
He then closed the track with the lyrics: “F*** a rap battle/This a lifelong battle with yourself.”
For the unversed, Kendrick Lamar released the track on Saturday, May 4.
