Has Donald Trump hush money trial benefitted Stormy Daniels career?
Donald Trump to appear before court today in hush money trial
Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who allegedly had an affair with Republican candidate Donald Trump in 2006, has built a lucrative business empire around the hush money trial, The Hill reported.
The affair has again resurfaced just before the November Presidential elections, as Trump is to appear in a rematch with President Joe Biden.
Trump, 77, is accused of covering up secret payments made to Daniel to hide their alleged affair just before the 2016 elections with help from former lawyer Michael Cohen.
As the first-ever criminal trial of a former president is underway, has the lawsuit proven to be good for the adult film star’s career?
During an interview, Daniels — whose real name is Stephanie Clifford — told CNN that she is "more in demand" since the story of her affair with Trump broke out.
She said: "I'm getting more dance bookings. I usually only dance once a month, and now I’m dancing three or four times a month. So that’s been really great."
After that, Daniels also started going on show tours and began her directorial career.
She had claimed that the new interest had been like a "double-edged sword" for her career.
Later, in the documentary Stormy which is based on her life, she claimed that she started receiving threats and abuses after the news leaked.
