Jennifer Lopez has said to make some fashion decisions ahead of the Met Gala on Monday.
In a recent video posted to Vogue's Instagram page on Wednesday, April 17, the 54-year-old star of This Is Me... Now talks about preparing for “the biggest night in fashion.”
“When Anna [Wintour] calls you and asks you to co-host the Met Gala along with her it’s kinda the biggest night in fashion and to raise money for the museum, it was a real honour,” Lopez said of the magazine’s longtime editor-in-chief.
“It’s a nice thing to be apart of.”
The Can't Get Enough singer talks about how excited she is for the impending event as she walks back and forth in front of many mannequins in the video.
“I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding,” the actress said with a smile. “I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute. Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today,’ and then we try to kinda create some type of amazing look — ‘cause that is the night for looks!”
The clip’s caption notes that “the first Monday in May is less than three weeks away!”
The yearly event is always held on the first Monday in May, and J. Lo was named as one of the four co-chairs in February.
