Shakira prioritises 'career' amid new beau Lucien Laviscount

Shakira ignited romance rumours with Lucien Laviscount, the star of Emily in Paris; however, whispers have it that the two are only friends and don't intend to be married.

Us Weekly reports that the Waka Waka singer, who split from Gerard Pique after an 11-year romance, merely wants to enjoy life and concentrate on her work.

According to a source who provided details about the singer's love life said that Shakira and Lucien's relationship is "not that serious at the moment."

“She’s dated a few people since splitting from Gerard [Piqué], and she isn’t in the mood to settle down at the moment,” they told the publication.

“She’s enjoying the single life, dating casually, and focusing mostly on her boys and career.”

As per an earlier story, the pop star and the actor's relationship "started" while they were collaborating on the music video for her single.

According to them, Shakira began "causally seeing him" after being "pleasantly surprised by how charming and funny he was." The insider made it clear that their relationship is not serious.

The insider went on to note that the mother-of-two is “happy,” adding, “Shakira and Lucien have a light playful thing going on — and he’s very into her.”
