Tom Cruise lands fighter jet in London while filming ‘Mission Impossible 8’
'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning' is scheduled for release on May 23, 2023
Tom Cruise is back in action for the upcoming eighth installment of his Mission: Impossible franchise.
The 61-year-old Hollywood star put his pilot’s license to use – which he acquired in 1994 – to film a scene for Mission: Impossible 8.
Renowned for his daring stunts on and off-screen, the 61-year-old Hollywood star was spotted showcasing his flying prowess by safely navigating his HondaJet – a fighter jet – through stormy weather to land in London.
Per the Daily Mail, filming took place in the heart of Westminster, just roads away from Downing Street.
For MI 8, Cruise reprises his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt.
Originally scheduled for a summer release, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two faced delays due to various factors, including the Hollywood writers' strike.
However, fans can anticipate the film's arrival on May 23, 2025, following the success of Dead Reckoning Part One released last year.
Alongside Cruise, the star-studded cast includes Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby, promising another thrilling addition to the action-packed franchise.
