Parineeti Chopra revealed that she has started paying closer attention to politics since getting married to Raghav Chadha of Aam Aadmi Party.
During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the 35-year-old talked about the matter and stated, “I’ve got to now.”
Sharing that she does have one concern regarding her husband, the Ishaqzaade actress said, “But my complaint is that he doesn't follow entertainment.” When asked about the last thing Raghav watched, Parineeti exclaimed, “God only knows. And only he knows.”
Moreover, Parineeti also disclosed the need to prompt Raghav as he had limited knowledge about films.
She shared that although he excelled in music but still Raghav struggled to identify songs from her movies, leading her to consistently remind him to feign familiarity.
Parineeti described this mutual unfamiliarity with each other's professions as the "best thing," as it directed their discussions towards life, a dynamic the actress found ideal.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Chamkila actress opened up about her first meeting with Raghav and shared that she did not know anything about him that time.
She said, “So the people who follow politics and know him would come and say, ‘You’ve married Raghav!' I was like, ‘Yeah, what’s the story here?'”
Explaining how she found him “impressive,” the actress shared, “To be the youngest Member of Parliament. At 35, be part of this party and do the work that he's doing. I feel like, ‘How do you do it? You’re just a baby! How's this happening?'”
