Former United States president Donald Trump is known as the resident DJ at his clubs, using a Spotify playlist and his iPad for performances, the Business Insider reported citing Axios.
His DJ-ing, which has become become a popular fixture, has won him the nickname "Deejay T" by regulars and according to his Spotify playlist, Deejay T does not joke around.
According to a source close to the 77-year-old Republican presidential candidate, Trump's playlist, which he uses everytime he DJs, whether at Mar-a-Lago or at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, was all about having "big names and songs people recognise".
According to a Page Six report in Febraury 2023, Trump is scheduled to perform regularly on Thursday nights at Mar-a-Lago, and has also been advertised as the DJ for special events at the Florida resort.
"People love it when I do it," Trump said of his DJ-ing in an interview with YouTubers the NELK Boys in 2022.
Trump said in the same interview that his favorite track to play was The Village People's 1978 dance anthem "Y.M.C.A."
"You know what gets 'em rocking? 'Y.M.C.A.,'" Trump said.
"I've always had a high aptitude for music. But I love great music," Trump told the NELK Boys.
