Cole Sprouse recalled a past interaction he and brother Dylan had with Oscar-winner Matt Damon and how they shrugged him off.
In his appearance at SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the Riverdale alum shared that the twin brothers were obsessed with playing the World of Warcraft video game when they were younger that they didn’t even acknowledge Damon.
Cole explained he and Dylan, who were 15 at the time, were playing the video game during set school one day.
Then, one of the production assistants told them that Damon and his children were huge fans of their Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and wanted to stop by.
“I remember Dylan and I turning to each other and just going, ‘Ugh. I can’t believe we have to get off a World of Warcraft right now,'” he said with a laugh.
Cole shared that all the crew members were “just looking and amazed at Matt Damon,” while he and Dylan never even took their eyes off the screen to introduce themselves.
“This was how ridiculous we were as children,” Cole said. “I think he came in and was like, ‘Hey guys. Wow, so nice to meet you,’ and we were like, ‘Yeah, yeah. Hey man. Hey, how you doing?’ and just went right back to the game.”
He added, “We were just being kids and playing video games, and I’m sure if I ever meet Matt Damon again, I’m just gonna say ‘I’m sorry’ and it’ll be all good.”
Dylan and Cole starred in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody for three seasons from 2005 to 2008.
