Shakira is ‘dating’ Lucien Laviscount: ‘Desperate to fall in love’

Shakira has found a new flame following her messy split from Gerard Piqué in June 2022.

The Colombian singer, 47, is now dating Lucien Laviscount, 31, after they starred in the singer’s new music video, per insiders cited by The Daily Mail.

Shakira and the Emily in Paris star, who had a steamy intimate display in the music video for Punteria, had earlier sparked speculations of a romance.

The insiders reveal that while the two did struck up a romance but they are not “heavily involved,” which the singer’s pals are relieved about.

“Shakira is desperate to fall in love – but her friends are concerned because Lucien has slowly crept his way up the celebrity ladder while dating women who were all less famous than Shakira,” the source told the outlet.

According to the insider, the British actor has been with “all very different women” whereas now he is “seeing” Shakira who “wants love” which is worrying her friends.

“Her friends fear he just wants people to know his name and she provides that,” the source said. “They are seeing each other but are not heavily involved yet.”

Shakira and Piqué, who share two sons Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9, were together for 11 years before their break up.
