Jeff Bezos buys third luxurious mansion on private island
The $90 million property is located on coveted Indian Creek island in Florida
Jeff Bezos is further solidifying his real estate profile as he bought a third luxurious mansion on the coveted Indian Creek island in Florida, New York Post reported.
The island known as the billionaire bunker is home to affluent billionaires including Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner, Tom Brady and investor Carl Icahn.
The 300-acre island only holds 41 residential homes and the Indian Creek Country Club.
As per a real estate agent, "The island is the hottest spot in the country right now. If there is one thing wealthy elites want, it is a slice of exclusivity."
The Amazon founder bought the house on an off market deal of $90 million, according to Bloomberg.
He already owns two mansions on the island, one he bought in August reportedly at the price of $68 million, while another $79 million seven-bedroom mansion was bought in October.
According to a Bloomberg report, Bezos and fiancé Lauren Sanchez plan on living in the newly purchased house, while the other two will be demolished.
In late March, Bezos was dethroned by Bernard Arnault as the world's richest man. He reportedly has a net worth of $200 billion.
Apart from properties in the Indian Creek island, Bezos boasts an impressive portfolio of properties, including homes in Washington, a lavish estate in Maui, and a palatial mansion in Beverly Hills.
