Tom Cruise has recently been spotted at the famous landmark in Los Angeles to carry out his stunt.
In the photo shared via PEOPLE, the Top Gun: Maverick star could be seen climbing the Hollywood Sign in LA’s Hollywood Hills.
Tom reportedly donned an all-black t-shirt, pants and shoes for the shoot and at one point even flashed his abs from underneath his t-shirt.
The outlet didn’t receive any comment from Tom’s rep as of yet so it’s not clear if the picture is from the actor’s upcoming movie.
Meanwhile, Tom has several upcoming projects in the pipeline which include Mission Impossible 8, movie-maker Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s latest venture and Top Gun 3 as well.
Interestingly, the Oblivion actor also planned to film a movie in outer space as part of project first announced by NASA back in 2020.
Doug Liman, the movie-maker with whom Tom made 2014’s Edge of Tomorrow and 2017’s American Made, is going to direct that movie.
Donna Langley, who is the Universal Pictures executive, told BBC news in 2022, “Tom plans to become the first civilian to do a space walk outside of the [International] Space Station as part of the untitled movie.”
In a 2023 interview with Variety, Tom shared updates about the movie, adding, “We’ve been working on it diligently. We’ll see where we go.”
