Chris Brown explodes over Rihanna abuse backlash: ‘You will beg for forgiveness’
Chris Brown was charged with the physical assault of Rihanna in 2009
Chris Brown wants everyone to move on from a “mistake” he made at the age of 17.
The 34-year-old actor took to his Instagram Stories last week to express his frustration over still facing backlash for assaulting Rihanna in the 2000s – when they were dating.
“I was asked by the NBA to play in the all-star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors,” he revealed, adding that “at this point, I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f***ing past.”
The Under the Influence hitmaker continued “I DON’T WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES, I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE YOUR FACE AIN’T GOT S*** ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AIN’T FINNA TP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW. I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE [sic].”
He further revealed that the NBA was still trying to get him to sit courtside after snubbing him. However, he shut them down.
“The NBA was still tryna get me to come and sit courtside… NOT F***ING HAPPENING,” he concluded his rant.
