aespa's Karina issues apology to fans after dating news surfaces

Aespa's Karina has penned a handwritten apology to her fans following the revelation of her relationship with Lee Jae Wook. 

The couple confirmed their dating status after reports emerged of their connection, sparked by their meeting at the Prada fashion show in Milan this past January.

Taking to Instagram on March 5, Karina shared a heartfelt letter addressing her fans, expressing regret for surprising and disappointing them. 

In the letter, she acknowledged the disappointment felt by fans who have supported her and emphasized her understanding of their feelings. 

"I feel even more sorry because I, too, understand those feelings all too well.

I wound up writing this letter in the hopes of conveying my feelings even a little bit," despite concerns that the letter might reopen wounds, Karina stated her intention to convey her apologies to fans who have provided unwavering support throughout her career.

"Even though I’m worried that this letter may hurt MYs one more time, the reason I’m taking the risk and writing this is because I wanted to convey that I am sincerely sorry to the fans who gifted me with the warmest winter of my life from the moment I debuted." 

She expressed a commitment to mend any hurt caused and pledged to continue striving for excellence in her endeavors. 

The singer concluded the letter by expressing gratitude to her fans and conveying her hope for future interactions in good spirits.
