Actress Kim Bo Ra’s agency Noon Company recently announced her marriage with director Jo Bareun, offering an insight into her wedding festivities that are scheduled for June, this year.
On Tuesday morning, the agency, in a statement, explicitly disclosed the star’s relationship with the director.
"We are sharing joyful news regarding noon company actress Kim Bo Ra," the statement began.
"Actress Kim Bo Ra is getting married in June. Her fiancé Jo Ba Reun is a film director, and after a three-year relationship based on trust and faith, they have arrived at the beautiful result of tying the knot.
"The wedding will be held in private with their families, relatives, and close acquaintances."
According to JTBC's report, the two first crossed paths on the set of the ENA drama Ghost Mansion in 2021.
Jo Bareun, an accomplished director in the industry, has many feathers added to his hat, including the Korean Fantastic Short Film Award at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
The director is known for his works in both drama and film, including some of his best Ghost Mansion, Gang (2020), and Slate (2020).
Meanwhile the South Korean actress made her debut in 2005, garnering recognition after her appearance in the JTBC K-Drama Sky Castle.
Previously, Kim was associated with her Sky Castle co-star Jo Byung-gyu, dating the actor for over a year.
The two called it quits in 2020, shortly after the series ended.
The former pair might have 'grown apart' romantically but they continue to stay on amicable terms.
