Kate Middleton takes big step for King Charles
A bitter pill to swallow: Kate Middleton takes unwanted decision to make King Charles happy
Kate Middleton, who has been out of action since her abdominal surgery in January, reportedly phoned Meghan Markle to "clear the air" after the release of Omid Scobie's controversial book.
The Princess of Wales had sought to "ease the tension" after Endgame shared scandalous details of the feud between the Houses of Sussex and Wales.
Scobie's book reignited the royal race row that began the Duke and Duchess of Sussex raising concerns over comments made about the colour of their children's skin during a controversial interview with US TV icon Oprah Winfrey.
"Shortly after the book’s allegations came out, Kate reached out to Meghan to clear the air," an insider told In Touch Weekly.
"Charles forced Kate to become his peacemaker after William's refusal," according to the source.
