Meghan Markle gives sweet tribute to Princess Diana during Canadian visit

Meghan Markle appeared to pay a subtle yet touching tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, with her stylish attire during her recent outing in Canada.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been in Canada to support the Invictus Games. During their visit to the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver for a wheelchair curling event, Meghan opted for an elegant ensemble.

Donning a £1028 Sentaler cape in a rich dark camel shade with shawl collar details and a waist-cinching belt, Meghan exuded sophistication.

Meghan accessorized her chic look with gloves, possibly a nod to Princess Diana. Members of the Royal Family often wear gloves for hygiene reasons, particularly during events with frequent handshakes and close interactions.

In photographs capturing Meghan's poised appearance at the event, she appeared cozy and warm as she enthusiastically cheered on her husband, accompanied by close friends Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana. Meghan and Prince Harry developed a friendship with the couple after distancing themselves from former friends David and Victoria Beckham.

The event marked the culmination of the One Year to Go activities for the Games, with Prince Harry, government officials, and Invictus Games representatives delivering remarks following the wheelchair curling demonstration.
