Bigg Boss season 17 finale details: Munawar Faruqi lands on the scoreboard

Bigg Boss season 17 came to an end with Munawar Faruqi emerging as the winner on Sunday, January 28. 

The show came down to five contestants with Faruqi taking the lead and Abhishek Kumar becoming the first runner-up.

The top five contestants included Faruqui, alongside Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar and Arun Mashettey.

The finalists had their eyes fixed on the cash prize as they competed against each other to get hands on the winner’s trophy.

Other contestants that didn’t make it to the finals, joined host, Salman Khan, as well as many of them performing as part of the show’s Grand Finale.

The show also extended invitations to the contestants’ families. 

The finale came off as a shocker as many leading TV personalities made special appearances on the show to cheer on the winner.

The show completed seventeen seasons so far and is gearing up for more. 

It takes its name from the Dutch Reality show, Big Brother.
