VIDEO: Orphan vervet monkey William finds comfort in rescue kitten Marble — Meowrable
As William clings to Marble's velvety fur, two soon grow inseparable
William, an orphaned vervet monkey, found comfort in Marble, a rescue kitten, at the Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary in Zimbabwe, where an odd bond developed.
Following the death of his mother, William sought solace and company in the refuge. That's exactly what he discovered in Marble, a sweet kitty healing from her own tragedy and mother's loss according to USA Today.
The sanctuary claimed that Marble provided William with "the gentle nurturing" he much needed.
With footage showing their sweet snuggles and Marble's calming purrs as William clings to Marble's velvety fur, the two soon grew inseparable.
Though there is no denying the extraordinary link between William and Marble, William's ultimate desire is to go back into the wild.
When he is older and more robust, the sanctuary intends to gently reintegrate him into a troop of monkeys.
