BTS Jimin dropped his album 'FACE' back in March 2023, and his single 'Like Crazy' hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100
BTS Jimin may exude epic enthusiasm as a confident performer on-stage, but he shed light on another aspect of himself in his new documentary.
The singer and performer, 28, released a personal documentary on Monday, in which he captures behind-the-scenes of his first solo album, FACE, and the different emotions that he went through.
Jimin’s Production Diary is filmed on a much more intimate level as compared to his bandmates J-Hope and Suga.
J-Hope’s In the Box showcased his historic headlining set at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2022, while Suga’s Road to D-Day followed him on a creative sojourn around the world studded with famous faces from Halsey to Steve Aoki.
Whereas, Jimin is seen dressed down in a beanie and sweats instead of sparkling stage outfits. He also gives an insight into his struggles as he deals with self-doubt and finding himself as a songwriter. There are also moments of sweet bursts of happiness and some goofiness in the studio.
FACE dropped back in March 2023, and his single Like Crazy hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Jimin the first South Korean soloist to hold the spot.
Production Diary will be especially emotional for longtime fans of BTS who have watched Jimin grapple with the making of his previous one-off solo tracks.
