The judges have been directed not to use harsh words or mistreat police officials, appearing in the courts. “If any police official is found guilty of misconduct or negligence, action must be taken against them according to the law,” added the order. The LHC registrar said in the memorandum, issued on the orders of the Lahore High Court chief justice, that a civil judge in Sargodha used harsh words against the SHO of Silanwali police station, Sultan Ahmad. LHC Inspection Judge Justice Muhammad Farrukh Irfan Khan had investigated the issue and submitted his report to the LHC CJ.
