Kylie Kelce apologizes for ‘mistake’ following her invitation to Kate Middleton

Kylie Kelce responded to the criticism over Kate Middleton.

Just a few days ago, Kylie invited the Princess of Wales to appear on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, saying, “Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chitchat about some field hockey and maybe kids. I don’t know. We got a couple things in common.”

She further reflected on Prince William's appearance on Kylie's husband’s New Heights podcast, “our husbands chitchatted on the other podcast,” she added at the time.

Now on October 1, the Not Gonna Lie podcast’s host apologized for the title mix-up and said that she will be more careful from now on. “I love learning, so I was unaware that calling Princess Catherine, Princess Kate was offensive.”

She went on to say, “I didn’t know that. Now I know that. Now I will proceed accordingly. I apologize for the mistake. I would like to refer to people in the most respectful way and how they feel respected.”

“Princess Catherine or the Princess of Wales, I apologize. I will get that sorted immediately starting now,” Kylie further added.

However, a critic wrote, “Princess Catherine is too refined and beautiful to be subjected to your cursing. You’ll need to clean up your act.”

“First of all, you’re correct. Agreed,” Kylie acknowledged the criticism.

Opening up about her admiration and why she would never speak disrespectfully about Kate, the host explained, “I would love to speak to the Princess of Wales. Okay? Because of many reasons. She is an incredible woman. She has children. She played field hockey. She battled cancer. There are so many things that I would love to speak to her about.”

She noted, “Do I think she has time to hop on this podcast? No, I do not. I don’t think that.”

Adding, “Would I curse at her face? No.”

“Here’s the thing. I love a curse word. I love it so, so much. I love curse words. You guys know that. But at the end of the day, I am respectful of the situations that I am put in, at least being respectful to the people I am speaking to,” Kylie further added.
