The Duchess of Sussex is 'staying out of sight intentionally' to upstage the Princess of Wales
Royal experts claim that Meghan Markle's relatively quiet life in the UK is part of a plan to outshine Kate Middleton.
She was allegedly advised to remain "less accessible" to generate curiosity about her life and boost her popularity.
Sources now say that the Duchess of Sussex believes this strategy will promote her 'As Ever' brand, which sells jams and honey.
“She is deliberately biding her time and staying out of sight intentionally, but she’s also got plenty of things keeping her busy," the insider told Woman's Day magazine.
"When she does start stepping out more, the hope is that she’ll have built up enough anticipation that people will be excited to see her, rather than having her everywhere right away and the public getting sick of her," a tipster continued.
The confidant further told the publication that once Meghan is back in the spotlight, she hopes for a "fantastic reception" to outshine Princess Catherine.
“Make no mistake, that is the goal," the insider said of Meghan.
For those unaware, Prince Harry and Meghan returned to Britain in August after spending six years in the United States.
The couple moved to Montecito, California, in 2020 after stepping down from their royal duties.
